(How to Swap)

(01)

Share labeled, disease- and pest-free plants.

Be sure to also clean and disinfect pots and accessories.

Label the plants you're bringing with your name and the plants’ name.

Provide a blank piece of paper with the plants’ name on it. (This will be used as the bid sheet.)

(02)

You will get a proportional number of stickers to the number of plants you bring.

1 sticker: Bunch of unrooted cuttings, plants, pots or accessories smaller than 4”

3 stickers: Bunch of rooted cuttings, plant, pots or accessories between 4”-6”

5 stickers: Plant, pots or accessories larger than 6”

(03)

You will use these stickers to place bids on other plants.

You can put 1, 2, or 3 stickers on a plant you’re interested in. If there’s a plant you covet, up your chances of winning the plant by putting up to 3 stickers on it!

(04)

You walk away with plants you’ve won.

When Swap starts, if your sticker is the only one, you walk home with the plant!

If there are more than 1 sticker on the plant, the organizer will pull a name at random.

(05)

Leftover plants will be up for grabs, and then donated to charity.

At the end of the swap, you are still invited to claim any plants, pots or accessories with no stickers on them; any leftover plants will be donated to a chosen local charity announced ahead of time.
