Small, intimate, plant people gatherings.

(OUR WHY)

Our first Swaps in 2019 started as a means to enlarge our circle of plant friends. But in 2020, the pandemic swept throughout the globe and we realized that more than ever, people are hungry for human connection.

Seed and Soul Club has one mission: to facilitate this human connection.

To bring this vision to life, we host a Swap every month in every region of the SF Bay Area. We strive to create spaces where our adoration of plants can be shared, held, and cultivated. This is our plant people club.

(FAQ)

(01)

What are your COVID-19 event safety procedures?

We follow each county’s latest recommendations on masking, provide masks, serve refreshments in single-use compostable containers, and contact all Swappers if any reported COVID-19 symptoms post-event.

Event safety is a shared responsibility amongst everyone in attendance; if you think you cannot make the event anymore, we will honor your refund request.

(02)

What plants should I bring?

House plants are always in demand at the Swap. But also bring your Ornamentals, Commons, Rares, Edibles, and everything else. Someone is going to want them!

(03)

Why in-person?

All of our Swaps are in-person. We believe in the serendipitous bump of energy at live meetings, and the organic rhythm of an interaction not bounded by a strict 2 dimensional box.

(04)

Why do you charge a registration fee?

The proceeds go into purchasing refreshments to hydrate our attendees, cost of venues to host the Swap, and cost of office supplies to run the Swaps. We also pay our photographers who lend their expertise to shoot the Swap. We try as much as we can to include local vendors, and businesses into each Swap.

We offer discounted tickets for a small number of volunteers at each Swap.
